The toddler years are a time of remarkable growth! During these pivotal first years, children develop emotional security and cognitive processes within the context of their relationships, especially towards their caretakers. During this time, they develop the ability to discern language, focus and maintain attention, and persist in their efforts of learning to work through frustration. This understanding lays the foundation for all future learning. This period of development is very unique and we understand that toddlers learn within the context of the relationships and environments provided by the adults in their lives and therefore, our teachers provide a warm, loving and safe environment in which they can venture out and explore.<\/p>\n

Filled with a plethora of hands-on activities and meaningful experiences, our classrooms offer an optimum learning environment. Our teachers take on the role of facilitator and implement activities that address the individual learning needs, interests, and cultural backgrounds of their students. Our children are given the daily opportunity to make choices, problem solve, and learn through discovery and active involvement. Participation in circle time gives each child an opportunity to discover they have a voice and are valued as individuals. Enrichment learning centers include art, literacy, math, blocks, and science discovery are provided to ultimately encourage children to develop a lifelong love of learning.<\/p>\n
