Children are natural learners who have an intrinsic motivation to explore, discover and ultimately understand. Therefore, they thrive in a learning environment that offers an experiential program which integrates all the senses and provides a wide variety of hands-on activities. At Buonora, critical thinking skills are stimulated through a developmental, constructivist approach that recognizes children are always constructing knowledge from what they experience in their environment. To this end, we provide developmentally appropriate, hands on activities that stimulate their interests and enhance their learning and understanding. On a daily basis, our children are given the opportunity to make choices, problem solve, and learn through discovery and active involvement. The center’s natural environment provides a home like atmosphere. This way, children feel at ease and ready to participate in many of the fun and enriching activities provided, such as art, music and movement, dramatic play, nature exploration, cooking, and more.
